I went to the Lyric theatre in Belfast last week to see this suspense comedy it was gripping; the intensity was captivating as the story of the 2 middle class couples unfolded after a burglar arrives. The middle class way of life its weaknesses and its falseness was portrayed with supreme skill.
It was a test for us all highlighting the secrets of everyone as they reveal all and then end up with the biggest surprise of all and completely unexepected. It’s a shame it’s so expensive and theatre wasn’t very full, there must be a better way of pricing the seats to ensure a fuller house.
Great play, great theatre, lovely bar and the view over the river made it – most refreshing and a great night out.
